[438] She went to Winterset, Ia in 1869 after her father's third marriage to Henrietta Martin (1865) Mary Elizabeth, Martha Ellen, and Francis William went to Iowa together. The story is told that their father, David B. Young pinned them all together with a safety pin and cord so they could not get separated on the train.
