Descendants of Nathaniel Batson

Notes

James K. P. Garrison

Story told by M. J. Camp---In early covered wagon days L. J. and Jane Camp were passing by Garrison's home by covered wagon.  Had sick children, and called to them from the yard to say hello, but they wouldn't come in because of the illness they didn't want to spread.  Julia and James insisted they come in.  Their children were exposed to the illness and Garrison's blamed Camps  for many years for the serious illness (Diphtheria or something similar) that their children contracted.
